In the GRAMMY U Multi-Media Contest, each contestant will upload media content to an open source site (SpinXpress), and then select from this site various audio and visual clips to compile, edit and mix into their own 3-minute film for evaluation. The winner will deliver the best 3-minute audio-visual montage project addressing one of two themes: music education or philanthropy. All footage in the final project will be provided in the open source database of SpinXpress. Audio students should upload audio tracks and video students should upload video/animation tracks for their entry; the copyright of all clips should be owned by the student uploading them, and all content used in the contest will be only used for the duration of the contest. Contestants can collaborate with other contestants in the composition of their final project (See official rules for details). Five finalists will be selected by a panel of industry experts in early June 2007, after the contest has closed. All final entries will then be viewed at an industry GRAMMY U event (date TBD), with another panel of judges providing live feedback and deciding on the final winner, who will take home the Grand Prize.

This is the Audio of the Movie Pitch
Musical notes flash in rainbow colors against a white background in this dazzling moving background. Combined with a hip audio backing track, this animated background is the perfect addition to your next VJ show, audio DVD background or web flash animation! FFU AVI package includes the .wav audio file. http://www.dvdmenubacks.com
In this eerie moving background we combine xray skulls in multiple shades to give a ghost-like appearance as they fade in and out of your screen. Backed by a mysterious audio track, this video is great for your next scary movie, for darkly expressing yourself in videoblogs or for general scientific application. http://www.dvdmenubacks.com
In this busy blue moving background we present an abstract grid of swirling, spinning spirals backed by an audio backing track that sets the stage for it's multi-hue show. A great abstract transitional video, dvd menu backdrop or videoblog introductory background. FF AVI package includes .wav audio file. http://www.dvdmenubacks.com
In this fantastic moving background we combine a 3D generated background with layers of rain, puddles and waves that combine in tandem to produce an awesome special effect. Watch as the rain falls from the night sky and spreads upon the ground before you in this visually dazzling animated background. The rain is lost in these previews, but the FFU AVI and the Free MP4 download are spectacular! Our FFU AVI version includes the accompanying ghostly audio backing track as a .wav file. http://www.dvdmenubacks.com
It is said that you can hear the aurora Borealis - like distant whispers on the wind. We've tried to capture both the sound and visuals of an Alaskan aurora in this colorful animated background combined with a dark and mysterious backing track. A great video with or without the included .wav audio file. http://www.dvdmenubacks.com
